Tom Davis has successfully represented corporate and individual clients for over 30 years in state and federal courts and private negotiations in Orange, Los Angeles, Riverside, San Bernardino, Fresno, San Luis Obispo, Shasta and San Francisco Counties. Davis has expertise in business and commercial litigation, construction defect and defense, homeowners association disputes, land use, real estate and title litigation, probate litigation, appellate law, and environmental litigation and advocacy. In addition, Davis works with architects and engineers, advising them in the various disputes that arise in the conduct of their business, including alleged errors and omissions, contract disputes, employment law, mechanics liens and collections.
About Tom
Tom has been a practicing attorney in Orange County, California for nearly 50 years, primarily as a civil litigator. His experience includes seven years as a partner in the Newport Beach office of a major international law firm. Tom has been the lead trial attorney in over 100 trials throughout Southern California, including disputes in federal and state courts in the counties of Orange, Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco, San Bernardino, and Riverside.
A Los Angeles native, Tom has been living in Laguna Beach since 1976. He raised his three now-grown daughters here and remains an active member of the community, contributing his time and expertise to a wide number of local nonprofits and small businesses.
Most recently, Tom has practiced in the fields of business, real estate, construction, and environmental litigation. He’s also handled cases involving commercial disputes, partnership and corporate disputes, and probate litigation.
